Success Stories

The first baby boy born under this scheme has been named Ayushman (Literal meaning=Blessings for long life). The delivery took place in Biharshariff headquarters of historical Nalanda district in complete cashless mode as per the provision of the program.

A 22 year old man suffered crush injury resulting in massive bleeding of the left leg following a road traffic accident on the railway tracks. Amputation of the injured leg was done by a team of doctors in the district of Siwan under the Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY program.
